Garlic infused olive oil has the flavor of garlic without the actual garlic pieces in it. This is a great way for those on a low FODMAP diet to still get the garlic flavor into meals.
When you’re buying olive oil, look for cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, preferably in a dark bottle. This is the best way to maintain the antioxidant properties of olive oil and keep it from going rancid. Don’t store your olive oil near heat like the stove or oven. Keep it in a dark pantry or cupboard away from light and heat.
