Just Beet It

An energizing and uplifting beet juice.   

Beets are known for purifying the blood and kidneys and helping with phase two detoxification of the liver. This can help you feel energized and upbeat (pun intended)! They are a good source of vitamin C and can help improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. You may even notice your skin glowing more!

You can make this with a masticating juicer, like the Koios Juicer, or use your blender and then strain out the pulp and save the juice. Masticating juicers cold press the fruits and vegetables preserving more nutrients than a centrifugal juicer and you’ll get more juice than from a blender & strainer.  Keep your juice in an airtight glass bottle for up to 3 days. 

Just Beet It

Refrigerate in an airtight, glass bottle for up to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • 2 organic Gala apples
  • 4 organic small beets
  • 1 organic bunch celery
  • 1 oz organic spinach (1-2 handfuls)
  • 1/2 organic lemon

Instructions

Wash the produce. Remove the core from the apple. Cut into sections to fit into the chute. Cut celery, lemon and beets to fit into the chute (did not include the beet greens in this recipe, but you can use them if desired).

Slowly add each ingredient into the chute of your juicer.

Store fresh juice in an airtight glass container for up to 3 days. Be sure to fill it as full as possible to avoid any excess oxygen. Shake well before drinking.
