I love to start the day with a greens juice in the morning – it’s so refreshing, hydrating and just wakes me up! This slightly sweet juice is one of my favorites because it’s not too sweet and not too “green” tasting. You’ll want to drink this everyday, especially in the spring and summer. The celery and cucumber are very hydrating while the lemon and parsley help to detoxify the body. Spinach is a great source of folate, vitamin K, magnesium, vitamin A and other nutrients.
You can make this with a masticating juicer, like the Koios Juicer, or use your blender and then strain out the pulp and save the juice. Masticating juicers cold press the fruits and vegetables preserving more nutrients than a centrifugal juicer and you’ll get more juice than from a blender & strainer. Keep your juice in an airtight glass bottle for up to 3 days.
