Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go

Refreshing juice to wake you up!  

This is a simple 3 ingredient juice that’s easy to make in the morning (or make a large batch ahead of time) that will wake you up and get you ready for the day. Cucumber and celery are very hydrating and refreshing while the lemon helps to aid with digestion. Have a glass before each meal to help stimulate stomach acid production so that you digest your food better. 

You can make this with a masticating juicer, like the Koios Juicer, or use your blender and then strain out the pulp and save the juice. Masticating juicers cold press the fruits and vegetables preserving more nutrients than a centrifugal juicer and you’ll get more juice than from a blender & strainer.  Keep your juice in an airtight glass bottle for up to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches organic celery
  • 1 organic cucumber
  • 1/2 organic lemon

Instructions

Wash the produce. Cut celery, lemon and cucumbers to fit into the chute.

Slowly add each ingredient into the chute of your juicer.

Store fresh juice in an airtight glass container for up to 3 days. Be sure to fill it as full as possible to avoid any excess oxygen. Shake well before drinking.
