I create meal plans designed just for you based on your food preferences, health history, goals and lifestyle. I’ll guide you in intuitive eating with foods that nourish your thyroid and gut. During our 90-minute initial consultation, we’ll dive into your health and review your one-week food journal together. Lab Tests & Supplements

I offer optional lab testing to uncover gut imbalances, thyroid levels, food sensitivities, inflammation and nutrient status. With this information I can create a more targeted nutrition and high-quality supplement plan to restore digestive health and balance within the body. I do not make a profit on the tests or supplements to keep costs as low as possible for clients.

Mindfulness Coaching

I support the emotional side of living with chronic illness through mindfulness practices and self-compassion exercises. Mindfulness helps calm stress, quiet anxious thoughts and open space for new ways of thinking—free from old patterns. These practices build emotional resilience while strengthening your ability to make nourishing choices for your body and health.

What is nutrition therapy?

Nutrition therapy is a personalized, science-based approach to using food and nutrients to support optimal health. It goes beyond just “eating healthy” — I assess your individual needs, health history, symptoms and lifestyle to create a targeted nutrition plan. This can include:

  • Identifying root causes of symptoms or imbalances
  • Developing meal plans tailored to your health goals and preferences
  • Using therapeutic diets to support immune function, gut and metabolic health
  • Educating on nutrient needs, food quality and mindful eating
  • Supporting behavior change through coaching, mindfulness and accountability

The goal is to help you use food as a tool to create health, improve your quality of life and create sustainable habits that fit your unique lifestyle.

Do I have to count calories or measure food?

I teach intuitive/mindful eating practices. I do not have clients measure food or count calories. Instead, we focus on portion sizes, food quality, hunger cues/cravings, how to read food labels and building a better relationship with healthy food and cooking.

Is there an elimination diet?

Yes, I teach a gluten free and dairy free (for most clients) approach. This is the least restrictive of elimination diets. Depending on the client we may need to follow another plan including Paleo, AIP or SIBO diet, but it would be personalized to the individual and I teach how to reintroduce foods properly.

What is your nutrition coaching style?

My coaching style is compassionate and supportive, using motivational interviewing to help you talk through emotions or challenges while still focusing on your goals. This approach helps you feel heard, build confidence and make lasting changes. I encourage small steps to help build the wins.

What are mindfulness practices?

Mindful practices are intentional activities or habits that cultivate mindfulness - paying focused, non-judgmental attention to the present moment. It’s about being aware of your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations in a gentle and accepting way. Being aware helps to break old habits and empower you to make new conscious decisions.

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not take health insurance. I do not practice medical nutrition therapy. Instead, holistic nutrition therapy is focused on root cause issues and bringing balance to all systems of the body. Clients can use a health savings account to pay for their sessions.

What does Mindful Thyroid mean?

One of the most challenging parts of my journey with Hashimoto’s was navigating the emotional impact of my symptoms—feeling disconnected from my own body, and experiencing anxiety and panic attacks. I’ve learned how important it is to honor the emotions that come with chronic illness. Mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques have been invaluable in helping me realign my mind and body. Today, I integrate these mindfulness practices with nutrition to support nervous system regulation, thyroid balance and overall self-confidence.
